Petrol Giveaway

With the rising fuel prices over the last couple of weeks, Acenet has decided on a Petrol giveaway this month. During September Acenet will have a weekly draw for a $50 fuel voucher for Caltex/Ampol service stations.

To enter the draw, simply renew your hours and then fill in the entry form in the Acenet Users Area. Unlimited hours and ADSL customers are eligible but must fill in the entry form in the Users Area. Only one entry is permitted per customer.

A winner will be drawn each Friday afternoon (beginning the 9th September) at 4pm; unsuccessful entries will automatically be included in the next draw.

Happy Fathers Day!

Acenet would like to wish all of our fathers a Happy Fathers day this Sunday! We hope you enjoy your day.

Acenet’s Unexpected Visitor

On Monday, 29th August, Acenet staff arrived at work to be greeted by an unexpected visitor. Our visitor greeted us with wide eyes and webbed feet, enclosed in an approximately 25cm carapace. That’s right! One of the turtles from the wetlands surrounding our complex climbed out and sat outside our front door.

After talking extensively to our friend about his travels, we returned him to the safety of the water before the business centre became more crowded. While we made efforts to find out whether the turtle was native and his species, our best guess is from some information we found on the ABC website, http://www.abc.net.au/science/scribblygum/april2003/default.htm.
