Setup Charges
There are setup fees involved with changing to ADSL services. First, there is a fee to have your telephone line ADSL enabled. Secondly, you will need an ADSL modem (dialup modems will not work with ADSL Broadband). Finally, the optional onsite installation by one of Acenet's technicians (only available within the Brisbane Metro area).

^ Modem may be collected from Murarrie office or freight charge of $15 is applied.

- Minimum twelve (12) month contract
- Maximum one (1) session limit
- Uploads are not chargeable
- Excess downloads charged at 11 cents per Mb
- Access fee charged in advance. Excess downloads charged in arrears
- Static IP Addresses and routed IP subnets are available
- All pricing inclusive of GST
Important Information
What do I need?
You will need to purchase an ADSL modem - your current dialup modem will not work with ADSL technology. One ADSL filter is included with your ADSL modem, however, you may also require additional ADSL filters for your other telephone devices.
How do I pay?
Acenet can automatically deduct your monthly fee from your Credit card or bank account, alternatively you can pay quarterly by Credit card, Cheque, Australian Money Order or Direct Deposit. If you visit our office in Murarrie, Brisbane, you could also pay by Cash or Eftpos.
How long does it take?
Once Acenet has received your completed application form with payment, it takes a minimum of four (4) working days to have the ADSL service provisioned on your telephone line.
This process can be delayed in some circumstances where incompatible equipment is upgraded. Unfortunately ADSL services are not available to every household and connection cannot be guaranteed. If ADSL is not available in your area, all monies are refunded and contracts dissolved.
