Wireless Broadband is available on 1 month contracts giving you even more flexability. To discount your connection fees, consider a 24 month contract for $0 upfront connection.

You also receive five (5) free email accounts and space for a personal webpage (20Mb maximum).
Additional Information
- Minimum one (1) month contract.
- Traffic includes uploads and downloads.
- Excess traffic charged at 8 cents per Mb.
- Access fee charged in advance. Excess downloads charged in arrears.
- Payment by cheque or direct deposit is quarterly in advance.
- Static IP address available for an additional $5.00 per month.
- All pricing inclusive of GST.
- Changes to plan incur a $11.00 charge.
How does it work?
Wireless Broadband utilises the strongest signal from the Optus GSM and 3G/'yes' G mobile networks. This means that even when you're on the move, your connection is maintained. To ensure that you are connected, your wireless modem and software continually monitors network availability and will connect you to the network in the following order:
(a) Optus 3G/2100MHz and 'yes' G network (900/2100MHz); and
(b) Optus GSM network.
The Wireless Broadband does not require a telephone service.
What do I need?
You will need to purchase a Wireless modem - your current dialup modem will not work with the Wireless technology. This is included in your Connection fee.
How does Acenet accept payment?
Acenet can automatically deduct your monthly fee from your Credit card or bank account, alternatively you can pay quarterly by Credit card, Cheque, Australian Money Order or Direct Deposit. If you visit our office in Murarrie, Brisbane, you could also pay by Cash or Eftpos.
How long does it take?
Once Acenet has received your completed application form with payment, the service is usually available within four (4) to ten (10) business days.
